I am sooo pumped for AMKE and one of the best things there has to be the vendors!
What im asking you guys is what do you think the prices will be like? Cheaper than most online stores? Or better than Lost World of Wonders?
Also what do you think they will carry most of? I personally think they will have a TON of wall scrolls and merch. This is my first year so fill me in guys!!

Well, what a glorious question. As one of the Dealer's this year, I'll do my best to answer those questions.

1. Cheaper than Lost World? Depending on the merchandise, absolutely. Lost World is a comic shop and their anime selection is varied and limited. Being a single shop they don't have to compete with other vendors in the same room so price is not as competitive there.

2. Selection of items. While I can't speak for other dealers, our store http://AnimeFanZone.com will have a lot of items ranging from key chains, wall scrolls, tons of figures, pillows (full body style and really awesome), plush items, shoulder bags, pins, buttons and tons of Tomy figures ^^ We will also have Pocky and Ramune on hand! While the Union won't let us "sell" them, expect to see these items being packaged in with other deals.

3. Price. Depends on the items on hand and if other dealer's are selling the same things. Just remember when comparing prices you see online to what you see in the dealer's room, the "shipping and handling" charges are added into the prices. Online prices can be misleading when you see an item for $15, but after shipping it's $22. So just be fair when comparing prices.

I know another dealer will carry a bunch of DVDs and Manga and not too sure what everyone else is carrying, but I'm sure the selection will be varied. Come with a fat wallet and leave with bags of goodies!!!

BODY PILLOWS?! holy crap I think im in love!!!! And wil 18+ older items be for sale at this con or...? Hopefully I dont buy so impulsively haha

There's no rule against 18+ items, just that they're clearly marked so that no young'uns stumble upon them..

I went to Anime Milwaukee last year and from what i saw in the Vendors room (and bought)
I gotta admit AMKE has a GREAT variety, of merch in the vendors room seriously! More than likely if ur looking for something that may just be a bit difficult to find u might possibly find it at AMKE.
And ya the 18+ stuff will of coarse be clearly marked.

As for pricing....ehh...I'd say its regular pricing like for any con really i mean everything is going to be just a bit on the expencive side. But not like crazy expensive. I'd say if ur looking for everything to be cheaper go on the sunday of the con cuase thats basicly when they'll be having a bunch of discounts, cuase they just want to get rid of everything ^^
Also one other thing is the vendors room is small! its quite cramped when theres a bunch of ppl in there, so im kinda hoping they maybe have seperate rooms. so its not as cramped.

The vendors room is bigger this year and in a different room than last year. As for pricing, at least I can speak for our booth. We plan to have fair pricing on most of our items and nothing we are selling is being marked up to insane levels. Most of our items are below SRP (Suggested Retail Price). We'll also be giving away Ramune and Pocky with certain purchases.

And those body pillows are so awesome and I'm loving the Misa one from Death Note.

We only have a couple pillows each, so if you like them, buy them right away or else they will be gone. Same goes with some other items we are carrying, such as figures and plush.
